Did you know we are one of the Outdoors Southwest Forest schools!
Holiday/ Saturday clubs: Outdoor learning and free play; explore the forest school site, fire, tools, dens, creative wood work activities, nature, themed sessions and play
Forest school sessions: dedicated Forest school with embedded curriculum subjects. Some free ranging is included but this is a focused learning group.
Lighting the fire!
Advised clothing for Autumn:
Jeans OR trousers
Wellington boots or hiking boots (trousers tucked in)
Long sleeved top tucked in
Water proof coat (weather dependent)
Layers of clothing
Please remember to tuck in all clothing to avoid tick and insect bites
Please provide a packed lunch and a drink for your child:
Glastonbury Forest School has a healthy eating policy but we do at times provide marshmallows or an alternative to toast on the fire. Please do not include sweets in your children's lunch boxes as they do need to remain focused throughout the day for health and safety reasons. This is due to your children using tools and fire. Your support is appreciated.
We always have drinking water on site and we refill water bottles as required.

What do you do in the rain? We have Dens, Shelters, a Tree house, a Round house and heated caravans. A bit of rain is good for the soul but we don't hang about getting soaked and cold! We bring our learning too our sheltered and indoor spaces until it's OK to be outside again. Nothing stops us creating and learning at Glastonbury Forest school!
