16. COMPLAINTS & CONCERNS

We want families to feel comfortable raising any questions, concerns or complaints with us.
Where possible, we encourage parents and carers to speak with Kelly Browne first so that concerns can be understood and resolved quickly.

Making a Formal Complaint
If you would like to make a formal complaint, please email: [email protected]
Formal complaints will be taken seriously, appropriately recorded and investigated. We will respond as soon as reasonably possible and within 28 days of receiving the complaint. If a concern relates to safeguarding, it will be dealt with under our Safeguarding & Child Protection procedures rather than through the ordinary complaints process. Our full Complaints Policy explains the process in more detail, including how parents can contact Ofsted where appropriate.

17. BOOKING, ATTENDANCE & PARENT RESPONSIBILITIES

To help us provide a safe and positive experience, parents and carers are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information about their child when booking. This includes relevant information about:
  • medical conditions, allergies and medication
  • SEND or additional support needs
  • emotional, behavioural, sensory or communication needs
  • emergency contacts
  • authorised collection arrangements
  • any other information that may affect their child's safety, wellbeing or participation.
Please let us know promptly if any of this information changes.

Attendance
Please let us know if your child will be not be attending or will be significantly late, so that we know when to expect you. Cancellation arrangements are explained in Section 11 and in our Booking Terms & Conditions.

Working in Partnership
We ask parents and carers to help children arrive appropriately dressed and equipped for the weather, with everything they need for their session. We also encourage families to talk to us about anything happening in their child's life that may help us understand or support them during Forest School. Good communication between children, families and practitioners helps us provide the safest and most supportive experience possible.
