During the Summer

These sessions are aimed at age 5+
​We have dedicated each week to a specific topic area which will also embed tool use, fire, animals and tree climbing in most sessions. The holiday sessions are on Mon, Tues, Wed and Thurs: 9:30-12.30. To book in for the week will cost £40 or £10 per individual 3 hour session. This is an introductory rate.
​It is advised to book in advance.

Week 1 - 25th July: All about wood and tools

This week we will be making things with wood and learning about our environment. Learning about the local environment, making dens, wands, bows and arrows, catapults, plant presses, and so on 

Week 2 - 1st August: all about fire

Learn how to build a variety of different fires for different uses and cook on fire every day. Marshmallows, hot chocolate, baked beans, Jacket potatoes, boiled eggs, cakes and croissants. 



​Week 3 - 8th August: outdoor creativity - wool, dyes, clay, wood

​It's all about your ideas! Make a forest school necklace or medallion, natural dyes for yarn and wool and turn it into a dream catcher. Week 4 - 15th August The lorax

This week we will be building an outdoor amphitheatre from straw bales and students will bring together their skills and creativity to make puppets and do some acting, directing or setting up the site. Parents will be invited to watch the show at the end of the week. Students will use tools as part of the build and puppet making
