We're waiting for a new delivery of rabbit guards then we'll be plating again around the perimeter of the land to create wind breaks, habitat for local wildlife and wood for building and making.
We can't wait to see how the Glastonbury forest school, bush craft and outdoor learning woodland develops throughout the year!
Well we've been busy this week planting willow trees on the levels: we have a number of willow that you would typically see on the levels at boundaries. We have planted 150 Salix alba cerulea throughout the space to use as woodland and some areas for raised platformed yurts. In the centre we have planted a Wingnut tree which as I was informed by the 'tree man' is a real sucker!
