Ok, so it looks like rain on Monday and Tuesday but it's clearing up for Wednesday! That means we are running sessions this coming Wednesday, Thursday and Friday! There will be; Make & do sessions, Habitats & shelter building and cooking on fire. The sessions will run from 9:30-12:30. Please bring lunch and waterproofs. If the weather is drizzly or light rain, just wrap up warm (layers are best) we will put up a shelter!

Dear All,
We're back after some rest and recuperation. We have been on the look out for a new site due to access issues for cars. This will make it easier for parents/carers of the Under 5's to attend and for other parents/carers when dropping off and collecting their children. So... watch this space as change is on the horizon! We are running an impromptu session tomorrow (Sat 8th July) if you are interested. There will be the usual access to a beautiful space and meadow plus some tree climbing and tasks involving water. In this heat we need to ensure there is plenty of shade and your children may get wet! Shelter building, water fight, and making dream catchers. Due to the season, bugs are at an all time high. Please ensure your children arrive wearing the appropriate clothing to avoid bites (particularly ticks). Covering up is the best preventative. Sun cream, hats, sunglasses, wellies, long trousers, water! We look forward to seeing you best wishes Dear all, we're out of action until after Glastonbury Festival. Please e mail any queries to glastonburyforestschool@gmail.com and we'll get back to you ASAP...
it's great to see the veggie patch coming along... with thanks to the children who planted the original seeds... everything is thriving
On Saturday the group (3 boys 3girls) created a sun shelter and did some tree climbing. We discussed safety around fire, animals, the country code. There was group work finding the relevant materials and independent work making knots and guy ropes. Well done to everybody... your shelter is still standing after being wind battered... take a look!
Everybody had a wonderful time this morning: nature curtains, flower press, making medals. Using: loppers, bow saw, hack saw, knife and more. what a fantastic group today. Well done everybody!
We're really looking forward to Saturday Club starting on the 23rd May 9am - 12pm for 4 sessions and then continuing after this year's Glastonbury festival. If you would like your child to come along, its time to book in. There are limited places available. Get in touch to book or ask any questions
